A CLUB full of connection, HOLISTIC HEALTH & WELLNESS TIPS, and MINDFUL MOVEMENT

 
 

The Sunbury Walking Club was established by Holistic Health & Wellness Coach and Reiki Master, Rhianna Ramirez to create a sense of community for women during a time when we feel most distant, and support good health. She believes in the healing power of community, connection, feminine energy, and mindful movement.

Rhianna is an advocate for holistic health and healing. She has spent years dedicating her life to a holistic lifestyle, organic non-toxic foods and products, simplifying her life, and healing herself from the inside out through food, herbs, movement, and energy work. She lives in Sunbury on a 3.5 acre homestead with her husband, college-bound daughter, a dog, five chickens, and a cat. She is building a permaculture food forest garden, and learning to live more sustainably.

As a group, we will get to know one another, support each other, and Rhianna will answer any of your questions about holistic health and wellness.

THE TIME IS NOW FOR WOMEN TO SUPPORT ONE ANOTHER, AND BECOME MASTERS OF THEIR OWN HEALTH

 
 

The power of feminine energy is much stronger when we come together, instead of further dividing ourselves through comparison, judgement, or shame. When we isolate ourselves, we feel lonely, which can lead to depression, fatigue, and low energy.

We need to feel safe, connected, and supported in order for us to reach our full potential. That’s why Rhianna created this club. It’s a great way to come together through a simple, but powerful mindful movement practice, such as walking.

Walking has amazing physical, mental, and social benefits. The health benefits of walking are well-documented. Many people don’t even realize that you can derive the same benefits walking as you can through running. Walking is easier on the joints than running, yet the cardiovascular benefits of walking can equal that of running. It is also a terrific practice for the lymphatic and nervous systems, reducing stress in the body and mind.

Rhianna used to be an avid runner, and fell in love with walking while recovering from injury and soon began to learn of all the health benefits that walking has on the body, nervous system, and spirit.

MEMBERSHIP + DETAILS

Membership in the Sunbury Walking Club is open to women of all ages. We meet every Sunday morning at 8:30 at the Northstar Community Path off Wilson Road. Our walk will go through the scenic path at the Northstar communities. ​

  • Once you have joined the club membership, you will receive details on our meeting place, as well as an invitation to join our online group so that we can stay connected in between walks.

  • Please maintain a 6 foot distance while waiting as a group and during any announcements

  • Maintain safe distance while standing or walking (unless you are walking with someone in your household)

  • Remember to hydrate, and bring your own water bottle.  You can take it on your walk or leave it in your car for when you return. 

  • Bring your own hand sanitizer if you desire

  • When returning from our walk, please maintain a 6 foot distance as we regroup or continue our talk

  • We focus on walking only. This is not a running club. We walk every Sunday morning beginning mid-April through mid-November.
