There was a time in my life when I was doing everything right - I was running, doing yoga, meditation, and eating healthy. However, inside I was struggling. There were other aspects of my life that were not supporting me, and yet I was in denial about them for a long time, or just wasn’t ready to let them go.
After years of this constant back and forth mind-game, and ignoring my intuition, I had put so much stress on myself. So much so, that it started to affect me physically. Even while doing all of the amazing practices like yoga and meditation.
I was frustrated, and didn’t understand why I was feeling so off. I didn’t make the connection until I finally saw a Traditional Chinese Medicine doctor and Acupuncturist, who told me I had PTSD and chronic stress.
I had been taking care of myself in so many areas, through physical activity and food, but wasn’t in some of the other important areas.
When you begin to cultivate a whole self-care practice and explore new ways of being, you can find healing and balance in all areas of your life.
We all have our stories, our past life experiences.
